Publishing connections

Connect once, then publish from the writing tools ai editor—draft or live, with formatting kept. Nothing is scheduled. Saving a connection is part of Premium.

What you can do with a connection

Connect a blog or app once. After that, Publish in the writing tools ai editor sends the open article there—as a draft to review, or live when you're ready. Nothing is put on a calendar.

Saving a connection is part of Premium. You can read every setup guide on the free plan. Exporting PDF, Word, Markdown, HTML, or plain text from the editor does not need a connection.

Pick the place your articles already live

Each card is one destination. You can connect more than one site—even two of the same kind—and choose which one receives the article when you publish.

  • WordPress — publish straight to your self-hosted WordPress blog. Keep formatting and images, add SEO title and meta, and send a draft or a live post or page.
  • Ghost — send finished drafts to Ghost in one click. Keep your layout and choose draft or live.
  • Webflow — push articles into a Webflow CMS collection, with optional summary and image fields.
  • Wix — publish to Wix Blog from the editor as a draft or a live post.
  • Blogger — publish to Blogger with Google sign-in. Keep HTML formatting and pick which blog receives the post.
  • Webhook — send every finished article to Zapier, Make, or your own app automatically.
  • API — pull published WritingTools articles into your own product. This key reads collections; it does not publish from the editor.

Draft or live

In the editor, Publish asks which connection to use and whether the piece should stay private or go live. WordPress also lets you choose a Post or a Page, and can include categories, tags, a featured image, and SEO title and description when you provide them.

For WordPress, permalinks cannot be set to Plain—pick any other permalink structure so the WritingTools plugin can connect.

A simple order that works

Write in the editor until the article looks right. Connect the destination here. Publish as a draft first and open it on the site. When it looks good, publish live. Disconnect anytime a site should stop receiving articles.

Each guide walks through connecting that destination and what you can publish from the editor.

Connections are included in Premium

Exporting a file from the editor stays available without a connection. Sending the document to a site uses the Premium plan already on the pricing page.
